Information about our Fishing Trips
New camp built in 2015, equipped with all the elements allowing a comfortable stay and a great fishing experience. Catch-and-release fly fishing is strongly encouraged and official possession limits must be respected (Zone 23 Lake Kerbodot South). Topographic maps of the territory, indicating the rapids and the best places for fishing, will be provided on site.
The Lac Kerbodot Fishing Camp is operated by a group of fishing enthusiasts and volunteers from Fermont, in northern Quebec. The cost of our fishing excursions is $ 150 CAD per person per day, in addition to applicable taxes, for each of the first two days at the fishing camp. If you decide to extend your stay, each additional day is offered at half price. Children 13 and under are free of charge. Those aged 14 to 17 pay $ 75 CAD plus taxes, per day (no discount for additional days). A deposit is required. Prices subject to change without notice.
Many years ago, the Kerbodot fishing camp and territory were operated for the exclusive use of the management, staff and customers of the Iron Ore Company of Canada. Several kilometers upstream of the main camp, there is even a small abandoned camp which was named the “Mulroney camp” in memory of Brian Mulroney, former president of IOC and former Prime Minister of Canada who frequently visited the camp.
